Securing your supply chain and beyond - two success stories

In recent years, global supply chain players have fixed their eyes on combating supply chain tempering and counterfeiting problems which has been a growing concern and accounts for 5-7% of world trade loss, valued at about US$280 billion.

Counterfeiting not only inflicts enterprises profits, but also blemishes brand image and reputation that a corporate values the most.  Some of the counterfeiting incidents are also linked to the safety and health problems such as fake drugs or substandard foods. Tampering can happen in any parts of the supply chain. Therefore, many companies, in particular for those who put quality in their highest priority, are looking for an effective authentication solution to help them cope with the issues in the same time that system can also optimize and add value to their existing operations.

SHKL has been helping enterprises streamline their business process and operations with their expertise in Auto-ID and information management. The following chapter will detail about two success stories on how barcode system can open up a new dimension on authentication and help companies take the customer service in to a new level.  To view the full article, please click here
